Personality: (word count: 255)
Raikou, having tiger-like appearances, embody the power of thunder and lightning. Anriika is no exception, carrying the thunder in her bold and rash temper, and lightning in her snide remarks and comebacks. She is a quick tempered lass with a love for competition and a hate for loss. She's not the most social Pokemon around, especially if you haven't got on her good side. Many Pokemon tend to rub her fur the wrong way, and tend the find out they're not immune to lightning. Not to say she's entirely terrible. If you can get on her good side, she holds decent conversations. She's as quick, painful, and unmerciful as a whip at times, but she's quite smart. However, her intelligence is rarely shown, usually covered up by her love for attention and glory. She's been known to take on battles against the odds, pull of stunts that would make an Arcanine cringe, and never back down from dares, no matter how outlandish.
She tends to see herself in high regard. She's never met someone as smug, witty or challenge crazed as her, so she sees that as a quality factor. She can sometimes get in over her head, and realize it too late. She has some humility, but it's rarely shown, along with her quick high intelligence. Nothing par to an Alakazam, but close. She's not self-centered by far, but she's in tune with herself enough to know that she is special battle, breed, and smarts wise. She isn't afraid to battle to prove it.
History: (word count: 482)
Anriika, descended to this world from a bolt of lightning in an intense thunderstorm brought on by her strong will to be born, the loud, crashing, ridiculously intense will to be born... was a quiet child. From level 1 to 15, she was a laid back, mellow soul who enjoyed living life to the minimum, not wishing to change anything, or step out of the circle, because if you step out of the circle, things tend to get alot harder.
Socialization for 'lil 'Riika was hard at first. Being a legendary Pokemon, she had no true mother or father. The closest she felt to a family was during storms. She'd cry out, for all know a Raikou's cry sounds like thunder and lightning, it was the same sound she decended from, thus giving her a homely feeling. Her first friend she made was an adventure-loving Houndoom by the name of Jace, the amazing stupendous explorer!... who swore by the time he was famous, the name would stick. Anriika was captivated by his rugged disposition on life, his 'survival of the fittest' attitude, and his 'do or die' niche of life. Anriika found that, quickly, she fitted right into that niche. Meeting and interacting with Hace gave her just the confidence she needed, and a bit more, to become the stubborn, prideful, competitive Raikou she is today.
Before Jace continued on with his adventures, he entrusted his lucky orange and black bandana to Anriika, his 'star pupil' as he did say. Jace then dissapeared as quickly as he came. Not as quickly as a Raikou's birth, but close enough. Anriika carried the bandana around in her mouth, looking for someone to put it on her. Her confidence brimmed, and with every step, the young Raikou grew stronger and stronger.
One day as she padded along with Jace's bandana, a pack of Mankey and Aipom started to heckle her as she passed under their tree. Their jeers and comments infuriated the short-tempered Raikou, and soon she was attempting to climb the tree's to maul their tails. She shouted jeers back, and sneered at their pathetic-..ness. She persuaded the lead Mankey and Aipom to battle her, at the same time, in return for their packs' silence, and their assistance. The now level 20, age 10 Raikou, was ready for them. It was a quick defeat at the paws of the Raikou, and in return, their packs' did silence their jeers, and the Mankey and Aipom did tie the bandana to her paw. Every day, in every battle or activity she took part in, whether it be walking or taking a drink, she see's the bandana. It's a sign of her victory, and her victories to come. If it ever slid off, she slid it back on. When it came untied, it was always time to travel back to the Mankey and Aipom tree for a good, friendly rematch.
Role Play Example: (Count: 431)
What in the bloody name of Arceus is going on out there? Anriika snarled to herself, lip curling in a hint of discust. Her claws pawed to get herself onto her feet, instead of her laying position between her two sleeping rocks inside her den. Her eyes, although protesting, opened and their green pierced the darkness, scanning the encloser to make sure no pest had crawled it's way inside to escape from the rain. Last time it rained, Anriika had trouble sleeping, which was ironic for her. A family of Pidgey had decided that her den looked JUST perfect for a place to take shelter. Here 'Riika was, sleeping like a Snorlax, when the family of Pidgey had flown in. Needless to say, the Raikou was not a happy camper by far.
With a moan of protest, Anriika poked her head out of the den, water slashing down her face. She welcomed to cool liquid, and stuck out her tongue to catch a few drops to quench her dry throat. A crash, similar to the one that had interrupted her sleeping, echoed through the area, causing her fur to stand on edge. What? Her back paws braced themselves on two rocks, and she pushed off, bounding across the landscape, seeking out the source of the infuriating sound. After all, disturbing her sleep! The nerve of them...
The crash was getting louder, so Anriika knew she was on the right track. The fur on the back of her neck started to rise, and when she saw the Geodude group tossing rocks down the Mountain, she let out a snarl that echoed like thunder. You idiots! This certainly caught their attention. The sight of the irritated legendary tiger seemed to intimidate them. Electricity occasionally sparked across her fur, a pretty sight if the sight wasn't glaring at you.
I do hope that you all are quite aware this is a mountainside. What would you do if the rocks you're throwing hit someone?

What do you think of the site?: it's nice. I've been waiting for a Pokemon Pokemon RP for a while. Let's say... 9 years? It's a breath of fresh air.
What do you think of the Rules?: Good and sturdy. You made me read 'em, that's for sure. Maybe make the text larger? I have bad eyes, so it was a chore to read 'em.
Where did you find us?: Zapdos Zulu advertisement.[/blockquote]
