Here are the rules, PLEASE read! The password to the joining board is here.
New rules are in purple

• First of all, Please be kind and respectable to everyone! You will be given a one or two day ban (depending on severity of fighting) if we see it or someone complains about it.
  
• Staff have the first, middle, and final say. But we do love to here suggestions on how to run the site better.
  
• The minimal word count is 100 words per post. Please make sure that when you count your words you aren't including the codes. Each part of the code, such as [ b] is one word. There is a word counter -points to below Reply (Modify Post), Preview, Spell Check, and Reset- To get up to and past 100 words, describe what they are doing, the setting, what the other characters are doing, what they are feeling, maybe some of their history. It gets you some good words as well as lets others know your character. But remember, Quality over Quantity.
  
• Liquid time is allowed. That is where you have your character in more than one thread at a time. But please, only one fighting thread at a time.
  
• No Power playing or God modding. It just sucks. Power playing is when you play the other person's character, just don't do it. God modding is where your character is completely invincible. Yes, even Legendarys and stronger region owners take damage.
  
• You may swear but please keep it to a minimum, I really don't like it but it is a teen RPG. No swears in titles, please.
  
• Seasons will be posted up in the table at the top of the board, please follow them! Though, the ones at the top of the board are just a general season. Each Region may have a different season but it will change slightly or drastically depending on the terrain.
  
  Pictures-
  
• Please make sure you are not stealing the pictures. Taking them from google or somewhere like that is stealing. I can make you a picture. I can take pictures from google and trace over them and change a few things around to make it an unique picture. Please do not steal them or else we can get in trouble, which will result you getting into trouble. If we see it, you will get a ban for a day. No exceptions.
  
• Please only 1 or 2 pictures in your signature. Yes, I have put a code in that will resize your image. But, please don't let the code do it, sometimes it will take a while to load the picture and the code doesn't work until the picture is totally loaded. Just make a clickable, such as mine in my signature.
  
• No profanity in your sig or any of your pictures. It will be deleted and you will be banned for more than a day.
  
  Charcaters-
  
• Please check out the "List of Pokemon" thread for a link to the list of pokemon that are available
  
• You can play as many Pokemon as you like, as long as they stay active!
  
• Use the form when creating a Pokemon
  
• Please wait to be accepted before you start role playing
  
• Shiny Pokemon are allowed but extremely rare. Not everyone will get it.
  
• Please see Leveling up for the leveling up rules
  
• Your character may keep the moves that it has learned, it is up to you. Meaning that you can have more than four moves.
  
  Battling-
  
• A staff member must judge/ref the fight. Unless it is someone who has special permission to do so
  
• Each post contains 1 attack for a total of 5 posts each. That means that there will be 4 attacks total.
  
• There will be allowed 2 dodges during the whole entire fight (Subject to change)
  
• There will be another set of rules containing these rules as well as more in the Battle Grounds
  
• If you lose a battle, you will be sent back to your region. In your region you will be healed.
  
  Legendary-
  
• MUST be active
  
• Must be able to post more than 200 words per post (Subject to change)
  
• The rarest of all Pokemon (besides the shinies)
  
• You may battle the Legendary Pokemon, but please beware that you may likely lose.
  
• They may go to any region that they like and do what ever they want there
  
• May battle each other but when a peacekeeping legendary comes along, you must go back to being peaceful
  
• Have fun with them!
  
  Leveling Up-
  
• It depends on the age of your character, as well as the number of posts you do with each.
  
• You may also level up when you see Legendarys fighting. But you may also not be hit when they are fighting, if you are hit, you have fainted password for the joining board is pokemonpokemon
  
• Leveling up means that you can evolve! Please see Evolving rules for that.
  
• Characters level 1-12 can level up every 2 seasons. Every Winter and Summer they will go up a level
  
• Characters level 13-100 level up every four seasons (yearly). You can get it faster if you battle other pokemon and gain my XP(more threads/posts). Every Summer their level will go up.
  
• You need to keep your logs updated with their age/level
  
  Evolving-
  
• You evolve when it says on bulbapedia your character evolves.
  
• You evolve by leveling up
  
• You get stronger, faster, and have more defense when you level up
  
• You may also gain another type when you level up, which is a good thing, you can go into other regions that you may not have been able to go in before
  
• If your Pokemon evolves from Happiness, you must have made a lot of friends and have high status in this rpg. This rule is subject to change.
  
• STONES!: To obtain a stone you MUST go on a Quest designed by one of the Legendary Pokemon. You cannot already play the Legendary. If you succeed in completing the quest, they will give you the stone of your choice. The quests are not easy and you must be high in level.
  
  Breeding-
  
• Please only with your own species, I know that in the new games you can go with others, but here it is only going to be of the same species/type. I.E: Squirtle with Squirtie, NOT Squirtle with Bulbasaur. Or here is another example of no: Ponyta and Girafferig.
  
• Only exception is if it is with a ditto
  
• Legendaries cannot breed
  
• When you have your egg it is born at a level 1
  
• NO graphic breeding
  
• Just post in the correct board using the correct form.
