Picture: Try this out for size.
Name: Cody
Species: Riolu
Type: Fighting
Gender: Male
Region: Grass Region
Height: 2' 1"
Weight: 38.7 lbs.
Color: Primary black and blue.
Markings: A chocolate tipped tail (meaning the end of his tail his black). He doesn't have too many other noticeable features that may make him stand apart from the default basic aspect of his species.
Eye Color: Green
Personality: A complete free spirit. He doesn't sweat the small stuff and gives everything all that he has got. With an easygoing nature, he also likes to spend all his free time checking new things out or simply just taking in the sunlight in a well deserved rest. Oddly, however, he is also the type that finds it next to impossible to remain seated for very long. He hates prolonged encounters and is always itching to make mad dashes to new adventures.
His relationships with others aren't bad, but they aren't good either. Yes, he has a heart of gold where he will be willing to help out anyone in need of assistance, but he has been known to be a little hot-headed as well. He simply tries to look out for the best interest of everyone and would dare stand against those who are stronger them himself. His motto?
"Get kicked down nine times, get up ten." (157 words)
History: Cody never knew his parents. As far as he knows, and is personally concerned, he had to raise himself ever since he was a pup. However, this suited him just fine. He couldn't picture himself abiding to rules that others have set down for him and how to properly behave. This would've got on his nerves P.D.Q. So living on his own was very much ideal. Going wherever he wants, doing as he wishes, and simply winging it as he went through his days.
Cody has spent most of his entire life just living in the areas of Meadows. It was rather odd since Riolu were often mountain dwelling Pokemon, but yet here he was. He still remembers his favorite pastime of standing on the brink of the meadows, gazing out on the vast, endless sea of grasses that swayed in the wind in the most modest and beautiful manner. Whenever he saw that, he would stop thinking and run through it. He'd run, and run, and run some more. Hours would pass by as quickly as he himself would pass other Pokemon who lived there. Whenever his mind was full of worries or he needed to chill out, he'd just run. Since he does this on a daily basis, given the nickname of "Blue Blur" from his fellow Pokemon, he prided himself on being the fastest Pokemon in the parts.
Bit of a troublemaker, but always a good kid at heart, he has grown through the years. Soon, the meadow had become too small for him. This is where he spent his entire life. Though the grasslands were as beautiful to him as always, he felt like there was just... more to see. He knew there were other lands out there. He had made up his mind to get out there and discover the world for himself. He wanted to see more of the awe-inspiring sights that this world may offer onto those who seek it. (327 words)
Role Play Example: Dawn. The birth of a new day, and an ancient tradition that has been practiced for billions of years in the world, and likely much longer than that which our minds can possibly imagine with our in-comparison short lives. The sun comes to rise from under the ground, bathing the fields of lush vegetation with warm strokes of sunlight. The flowers take in response to this and open buds for business as the day starts anew. Darkness is once again banished from which it came.
"This is it," Cody had spoken to himself as he watched the sun rise over his homelands, these endless seas of wavering grasslands. He had gone to sleep early the previous night so he might awaken before the sun itself. He had grown too curious about the world outside these borders that had kept him safe and welcome for as long as he could remember. Before he could even walk properly, from what he knows. Cody had intentions of leaving his home today after weeks of planning and preparation. He wanted to start the day out early and fresh... and take one, last good and memorable look of the sun rising over his home. It was beautiful with amber waves and brush-stroked clouds of yellows, oranges, purples and blues. Yes. This is what his home was, is, and always will be for when he may return someday.
A small sack lay nearby. It wasn't very big, but it held all that he needed. Some coin for fees he may encounter, food and the like, plus some rations of berries for when he needs a quick munch while he ran. These weren't suitable for full blown meals, but he reckoned he knew enough about hunting and gathering that he can make do just fine winging it. That's how he lived his entire life, after all, and it hasn't failed him yet.
He picked up his few belongings and turned back to the rising sun, taking in a deep, drawn-out breath so the scent of the grasslands would forever be burned into his mind. He had doubts that anything would smell as spectacular as these, but you wouldn't know for sure until you try. Even if he comes across new smells, none will smell like this. Like home.
Sack in hand, he turned his back to the ball of light that brought these lands back to life. He would now follow his shadow and let the light carve out the path before him. He doesn't feel the need to say good-bye or farewell to those he knew. The way he figured it, the only farewell needed was in death. But right now, this is his life and it has only now just begun. With this single step.
He burst into high speed and left a trailed wind in his wake of tall grasses. Cody's journey has officially begun. (481words)

What do you think of the site?: Average. However, the default skin can use work. Though it thankfully doesn't burn the eyes of those who come here, it doesn't really catch their attention either. It is a bit too plain.
What do you think of the Rules?: Try to simplify them a little more. You can be more direct and to the point, but having too much text can confuse and intimidate other people. It also makes it a little harder to understand. However, from what I read, it is a basic and fair sets of rules.
Where did you find us?: When you advertised on my website, Rescue Team Chaotix. I thought it might be fun to drop in for a spell, even though this site is pretty new.
