Arrion flapped his wings vigorously, gaining altitude quickly. His small body allowed him to zip into the air quickly, but as a downfall to his small body, he couldn't fly far. Bah! Why haven't I evolved yet? He growled to himself as he landed on the side of the cliff, talons digging into the soil. It'd been a long while. Arrion could tell he was strong, but... He still wasn't a Braviary like his father! Then he could fly around anywhere, and people wouldn't make fun of him anymore. Instead, he was small, little, pathetic Arrion, the tiny.
Patience, Arrion. Patience. He said to himself, clicking his beak shut with a sound of satisfaction. One day, he'd fly higher than his friends, who teased him. He lifted his chin up and examined the clouds. One day, clouds, i'll see what you look like from the inside. He vowed. Age 25 and still a first evolution... Maybe he was sick. Either way.. He pushed off and jumped down off the cliff, and proceeded to fly around, glancing down at the lakes and high trees that lined the area. [/sup]

Green eyes kept a watch out for small bugs that were flying around. Or even mice and rats. That would sustain my hunger for a little while. I was just gliding in the sky, only flapping my proud wings to keep me up in the sky. Tail feathers were spread, keeping me afloat. Something caught my eye and I dived down.
I was capable, like my fellow Pidgeots, to fly at Mach 2. Such an extreme speed that it was a wonder how we ever kept our feathers. But our feathers were strong and held in our flesh. As I was diving down toward the waters I spotted a small creature flying. It had such a tiny body but a big head, or what appeared to be a big head, full of feathers. But at the moment I was hungry.
Talons stretched out as my feet hit the water. When I lifted my self back into the air I could feel the small Magickarp wiggling and trying to get away. It was hard to believe that these things evolve into such frightening creatures. But at this stage they made good food.
I closed my toes in, feeling the struggling stop as my attention was back on the small bird Pokemon. I hadn't see one such as this and my natural curiosity brought me closer. But before I could get closer, the small guy jumped off of his cliff and began to fly around. Large wings flapped, a loud noise erupted from them. I was capable of doing such disastrous things with these wings. I tried to refrain from sending his little body plummeting to the trees below.
My balance was slightly through, so I quickly fixed myself and shot myself forward. Fish still in foot I could feel the wind whip around my long feathers that perched themselves on my head. I shot myself past the little guy, so I shot my wings out and used gust to stop my movements. I turned around then parted my beak to speak. "Hello, I am Valentina. Want to share this Magickarp?" I asked.

He was already getting tired, but Arrion wanted to push himself to his max to strengthen his wings. He felt like a Bagon. Except they evolved before he did, too... A sigh emitted his beak, and he dashed forward, trying to pick up speed. He had a great momentum going for him, but he slid to a stop by opening his wings and unallowing them to let air phase through. He then flew in place while the giant Pidgeot, with Magikarp in foot, flew infront of him. His beak watered slightly. He hadn't had Magikarp in forever.. It'd been berries for months. Want to share this Magikarp? She had asked. Arrion immediently let himself nod. Sure! He smiled, which was impressive with a beak.
Thank goodness she had come when she did. Arrions wings felt like falling off. He flew toward an empty cliff, which would be large enough to hold the three Pokemon. Well, two Pokemon in a few moments. He let himself glide over, and his claws securely latched into the soil and ground on the side. It was mainly dirt. He'd have to roost and preen later just to get all of it off. Another perk of being strong enough to leave the cliffs. No dust and constant preening to make himself look decent. He hopped to face the water, where the Pidgeot had been flying. He awaited patiently, wings sagging beside him lazily. If he didn't have to carry around this big head of his... His two feathers sagged down infront of his face, and he shook his head and ruffled his feathers to get them back into place. His stomach interrupted his thoughts as he awaited the Magikarp. Flying was a breeze for me. But I do remember the difficulties I had when I was a new pidgey. At the last thought I remembered when I was a pidgey. I was owned by a trainer, a little girl in fact. And I was kind of spoiled. I went every where with that little girl, to the circus, fairs, school. And even to the park. I was her best friend, she mine. She dressed me in the pink ribbon that I wore today. I evolved to a Pigdeotto. Things got a little more complicated. I got a big for her families house, and I just loved to stretch out my large wings. So they built me a house outside. I couldn't fly around all the time and I missed the warmth of her bedroom where I used to sleep.
I grew bored as the days went by. She didn't visit me as much as she used to. I got bad habits, I would climb on the cage. I would make a racket just to get her attention. Even though the words that I got weren't very kind. I could hear them arguing sometimes, through the walls. Her parents wanted me gone, but for some reason the girl didn't want to get rid of me. I was happy with that, I would gain hope that she would come play with me again.
She came one day, and let me out of the cage that I was in. I was so happy that I ended up evolving into the creature that I was today. But it wasn't to play. And I didn't notice the sad look on her face as she locked my cage up without me in it. I was confused as she ran in the house, and because I wouldn't leave they sent out their Luxray in attempt to shoo me away. I put up a fight, but the Luxray was stronger and had a type advantage. So I flew off, and now I was here.
Shaking my head I listened to the smaller birdlett as he agreed to share. If I was capable of putting a smile on my beak, I would have. I followed him over to a ledge and carefully lowered my body beside him. Dropping the fish so I wouldn't step on it.
Before I gave it to him I tore it in half using my taloned foot and beak. I put the rest of it by his own feet and swallowed mine. It didn't take much to eat half of a Magickarp. Large wings folded at my side, green eyes looking out toward the sea and trees. Eyes flicked to the small movements, things trying not to be noticeable.
My my I have come far from being a house pet. I did like it in the wild, but I kept the bow ribbon on my neck, and would keep it there until it broke off in a fight or just naturally. I didn't talk much, I wanted this one to eat. But I grew bored after a while and turned my focus on him. "What is your name? And I haven't seen your species before, what is it if you don't mind me asking." I asked him.

Arrions beak watered when the Magikarp came closer. And when Valentina sliced it in half and pushed the Magikarp towards him, he started to dig in. The fish tasted delicious, and he savored every cell, every single moment shared between himself and this half Magikarp. The taste sent him into a world all his own, where he was a Braviary, flying through the skies, spying Magikarp himself and catching them.
Her question brought him back to reality. He was incredibly relaxed from the wonderful meal. Before he spoke, though, he made sure to swallow his beakful of food so he wouldn't spray it around. Ah... thank you... It's sooooo delicious... He grinned. If he could purr like a contented cat, he just might have. My name is Arrion. He smiled. My breed are called Rufflet's. See this feather here? He looked up to the Braviary feather on his head as well. His fathers. We evolve into giant birds that have this feather. They're called Braviary. But... Who are you? And what are you, if i'm okay to ask?

Elegant head curled into my chest as I cleaned out some of the feathers and bugs that buried themselves there. Eyes closed, it felt good to clean. Sometimes I would sit in the water and bath to my hearts content. I did that lots when I was at the human's home. Sometimes that was all that I could do. But it kept me busy and somewhat sane.
I do have to say that I like the wild, being able to spread my wings and go anywhere that I liked. Finding food was a hassle at times, and I had to teach myself how to do that without messing up. But I figured it out with the help of my keen eye ability. I was done cleaning now, however, and the little guy was now speaking.
Nodding my head to his words. Interesting, a Rufflet that evolved into a Braviary. This one seemed older than me, despite his size and baby like look. Did it take a while to evolve? Or did he not find the courage to evolve? Or maybe something didn't trigger it yet? But I didn't ask, it seemed as though he wanted to evolve. I smiled at his question. "I am Valentina, the Pidgeot." I replied to his words.
"I was a Pidgey once, but I evolved into a Pidgeotto, and after a very long while I turned into what I am today." I added. I remembered what I looked like as a pidgey. Kind of ugly. But I liked the way I looked now, and I took care of what I looked like now.

Arrion's head bowed. It took her a long time, but she's younger than me... will I ever evolve? He asked himself in his mind. He smiled and finished the magikarp. He used his tail to shuffle off all the bones and let them fall back into the ocean, where Huntail could chew on them in the dark. At least, that's what his father said.
Pidgey? He shifted his head to the side. Never heard of one. He smiled. But you must have been small! Like me! He smiled. When he was a Braviary, he'd be bigger than everyone. Nobody'd make fun of him again. He started to preen, but continued to speak. Well it's cool that you've evolved... but I still havent. My dad says it takes a long time... but it's been a long time... I don't even know how close I am... He murmured, beak in his feathers. [/sup]

I gave my large body a shake. I puffed up my feathers than ran my large beak across my chest. I unfolded one wing and started to pull out some nonworking feathers. I let the fall down to the waters below. Something might make use of it. Green eyes shifted back to the large headed Pokemon beside me.
"Pidgey are even smaller than you. But that is probably because you got a lot of feathers on your head. Where as you see mine," I said lowering my head to show off the long feathers coming off of my head, "they are really short and progressively get longer when I age." I finished. He was now saying that it takes a while for him to evolve, that is what his dad had said. I wondered where his father was. He certain spoke of him lots.
"Well, I am sure that it will happen sooner rather than later." I replied to his next statement before looking out off the cliffs. I stared out for a while before I got a twitch to fly off. I unfolded my wings carefully, I didn't want to hit him, and I jumped off and flew around. I steadied myself in front of the small Rufflet. "Tell me about your father. Where is he now?" I asked beating my wings steadily.

My feathers ruffled, and I could feel the wind calling my name. They couldn't keep me up in the air for long, but I wanted to fly about for a bit with the Pidgeot. Pidgey were small? I guess she was the evolved form of Pidgey, then. Since she was older and stronger, and bigger. If they were smaller than him, and he was smaller than her, it was just reasoning.
I'm gonna join you! I grinned, and let my tiny wings beat until I was in the air. Sooner, rather than later? I thought. Any day felt like years! I'd never evolve! I used my frustration out on my wings, keeping me in the air with new-found vigor.
My dad is one of the biggest Braviary I've ever seen! They're so strong and amazing. But he bonded with a trainer, and left after I left the nest. I don't know where he is now, or how he found the trainer or anything. That's what Mom says, anyways. I said, flying little circles around her. But i'll be a big Braviary like my dad was. And i'll be able to fly with you no problem! I smirked, feathers ruffling in the newfound breeze.[/sup]

Green eyes watched the determined Rufflet. I made my eyes smile at him, it is nice to see such determined young ones. Even though this one did seem to be even older than I. The wind fluffed and tossed at my body feathers. The long feathers on my head blew around as well, but were much more pronounced because of their size.
Large wings beated against the air, keeping me afloat and in spot despite the breeze. I watched him take off from the cliff side and fly with me. I moved from my spot and started to slowly take a moving fly. I didn't need to go fast, even though it was in my species nature to whip around and fly at high velocities.
I listened to his description of Bravary's. He was very inclined on being one that is for sure. I guess now when I think back to being a Pidgey and if I was in the wild. I would want to be what I am today. Being able to fly great distances, have little predators because you could easily fight off those who were brave enough to take you on. Not to mention the speeds that we can fly at too.
"I was owned by a human once." I stated to him, "they aren't to bad. You battle lots, get stronger faster and they give you food. You don't even have to hunt for it." I added. Of course, however, I never really battled anything before. I just grew with age, and I had to get the hunting instinct when I was nearly starving.
