I lifted my head, feeling the cool breeze on my orange face. I wasn't used to it, so I shivered just slightly and brought my flame tipped tail closer to me. The warmth of it brought me some reassurance. I was born in the Volcano so I was used to unbearable heat and when that didn't come I got cold quickly. It didn't help that I was also a reptile and needed warmth to survive. I sighed, feeling the clean air rush into my lungs. I do have to say that the clean air as opposed to the smoky ash filled air, was better.
I put my three clawed hands to my sides, my short legs starting to walk forward. Each toe claw clamped onto the moist dirt and then pulled it up with me. The dirt felt cool and I didn't like the feeling of water on my feet. It sent my instincts haywire. I wanted to run back, or run up a tree. But, I didn't want to look like a sissy. I was going to be a Charizard one day and that one day would come more quickly if I got over my fear of water. Though to an extent of course, I didn't want to go diving into a lake. Maybe just stand in it up to my knees. Yes, that was a good idea, then I could give my legs a bath.
I lived in the Fire Region, as one could probably tell. I had already met a friend, a Vulpix named Persephone. She was a different Vulpix, she had three brown socks and then one white. Which was odd, all the Vulpixs' I have ever seen had all brown ones. I shrugged, wondering if she would come here too or if I would meet other Pokemon. I was still only a level five, but I think most here are level fives. Except for the Legendarys. I gave a shudder, I hope that I don't come across one of those anytime soon.

.scout She sniffed along the ground, her bushy tail twitching slightly as she searched for some drop of water upon the ground. She was extremely thirsty --and being in the Snow Region, she was used to having a water surplus where ever she went. Here, the land was filled with soil and foliage. She crinkled her nose at the scent of the moist earth, her senses recoiling. She only enjoyed the crisp breeze of a winter zephyr breathing across her neck. She was used to the frigid air and loved it. Here, it was warmer and a sweat was beginning to break out upon her scruff. She'd finally gotten the freedom from her parents to travel alone ... they'd said it would help her improve her skills in battling and it would help her level up faster. She sniffed. Of course it would. There was hardly anyone living up in the Snow Region! She'd already challenged the ones living up there too many times and it had gotten boring. She knew all their attacks and weaknesses, so it just wasn't any fun anymore. She let out a sigh, her breath ruffling the fur on her chest and the grass below her paws. She reached over to munch at the foliage. It was unusually moist, but it was a good feeling, oddly. She sniffed again and raised her cerebellum upward, her yellow spheres catching the form of a Charmander.
She tilted her head from side to side, studying the orange creature for a moment before coming out of the grass, her gaze critical. Her parents had often told her about Fire pokemon, about how they couldn't control themselves and how they were too impulsive. She gave him a once-over with her oculus and padded toward him, narrowing her eyes. She then spoke, her voice an icy hiss,
"You're far away from home, aren't you Charmander?" She didn't care if she sounded mean. It was a conversational topic. She tilted her head to the side in questioning, her gaze narrowed and her legs spread out in an aggressive pose. She was taught to challenge every pokemon that crossed her path, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. It would get her that much closer to being a Glaceon. Though, She thought with a frown, I should be doing this at the Snow Region ... She suddenly felt her whole plan slip away from her and it made her ears pin down ever so slightly. Great. How was she going to become a Glaceon when she couldn't train at the Snow Region?

Misty ------------------------------------------------------------------- The land was new and wonderful. The land was beginning to thump and rubble as a pokemon was galloping back and forth. Her white body was shinning as she was galloping some more. The flames were burning brightly as like all flame pokemon she needed to keep burning or she would die. One thing Misty was missing was her old trainer Lana. Sometimes she wished that she was still able to see her, but she felt betrayed as she was responsible of her entire family to taken away forever. You see Misty wasn’t born in the wild like normal pokemon she was born to a breeder, a human. So Misty wasn’t accepted into the herd of wild Ponyta which was led by one wild Rapidash, the reason cause she was raise by humans.
Unlike some fire types I love the water. I would jump on rocks to get across them, or I would even jump over them if they weren’t to wide. Her flames were burning more brightly. Then suddenly she spotted another pokemon, a charmander. Misty reared happily as she was a fire horse pokemon, she was hard to make friends since Ponyta’s have a reputation to be hard and must work for they trust. Soon enough she was by the flame creature. Hello there. I am Misty from the Fire Region. What’s your name? She asked in a friendly tone as she waited for his reply. Her black mixed blue pupils looked at him and she saw there was a storm coming and like all fire types she hates the rain. Soon enough the rainfall came and Misty galloped towards the bushes for shelter. I kept walking along. Feeling the wet soil go in between my claws. I stopped, feeling slightly curious as to what I was stepping on. I lowered my small slender frame and stretched my three finger hand out. I rubbed my hand against the cool moist surface. It felt gross and I scooped some up to inspect it closer. I kept my big blue eyes on it. My pupils dilating as I got a closer look. I dipped my hand downward, but nothing came off. I frowned. My eyes narrowed as I gave my hand a shake. When nothing came off I took a look around and then rubbed my hand on my yellow belly. I had a big ole smear on my stomach. I was dirty anyway so I didn't care.
I walked a bit more forward, my legs brushing against the green blades of grass. Where I lived the grass was yellow and brown due to a century old drought. It was nice there, dry and very hot. I gave a smile, thinking of it. But I needed to get out, that is how I will get more experience and level up. If I travel to other regions and battle other Pokemon other than my own. I gave a blow out of my nares. I gave my tail a swish then a tiny voice came from behind me. I stiffened then turned in a flash. I saw an Eevee and her stance suggested that she wanted to battle. I knew that these lands were not for battling but I would defend myself she she attacked. I crouched my frame, a slightly bared frown on my face. My flames got bigger and brighter as my anger flowed.
"As you, Eevee. What brings you here?" I hissed at the smaller being. I kept my frame centered. My legs slightly spread apart to keep my balance in case she tackled me. I normally thought Eevee lived in the Grass region, but due to the fact that this one seemed to have a little sweat going on I thought differently. I straightened my frame, cocking a brow. "Where are you from anyway?" I asked, my tone no kinder than before. I normally was a kind male Charmander, but this four legged being was being rude anyway. I wasn't going to stand up for that. I gave a small huff out of my slitted nostrils. My blue eyes narrowed at hers.
A white body had come into my orbs. I turned my face to see a Ponyta making her way over to us. Good, another fire Pokemon. She should understand that this weather was cold rather than to hot. I turned my face back to the Eevee until the fire horse was to me. I turned and gave her a nice smile. My tail giving a small swish from side to side. "I am Pyrogenic, of the Fire Region." I said proudly, "It is nice to meet you, Misty."
I looked around, then turned back to the Eevee, I had forgotten to ask her name. Even though I thought that she was rude and a little intrusive I still felt the need to know her name. "What is your name, Eevee?" I asked her, my voice a bit more kinder than what I had used before. I looked at my yellow barrel. I swallowed and then rubbed it a bit harder smudging in the dirt into my flesh. It didn't show up as much then.
Soon a loud noise came over head. I jumped and gave a little cry to the loud unexpected noise. I suddenly felt embarrassed but tried not to pay attention to it. I was only a baby still, at level five. I looked toward the sky, feeling wetness fall on my orange face. What was this? I lifted my head and lowered my dial. I touched it. The liquid was clear. I gave a snort, feeling more and more fall upon me. Water. I gulped and then gave a shake. I turned my blue eyes back to look at my flame tipped tail. It was still burning brightly but I didn't want to take any chances.
My short legs started to move double time through the already muddying Earth. But I slid to a stop and turned back to the Eevee. "Come on!" I called before I ran toward the bushes where Misty had ran. I couldn't run fast because of my short legs and the wet soil. Right now I really wanted to have wings, then I could just fly there or take a quick trip to the Fire Region. I would be in a warm spot then, in the inside of the Volcano. ooc:// sorry for the long post -_- I had a shorter one but it got deleted because my internet was being stupid

.scout Her spheres were still narrowed upon the form of the Charmander. She knew very well that if she turned into a Glaceon --which she would --she would have to be more vary of Fire pokemon. They had double impact on her type. She snorted scornfully at this pitiful equation and circled around a couple of steps around the orange pokemon, his belly smeared and covered with mud and dirt. She twitched a hark and relaxed herself from her tense position, straightening each piston out one by one and giving her chest fur a couple of licks with her short pink tongue. She flicked her eyes back up to him again as she heard him speak, his legs spread out in case she attacked him. She sniffed and raised a brow at him, a glint in her eyes showing she was slightly impressed. A lesser pokemon might look at her dumbly instead. She heard his hissed tones and chuckled a bit. So he was truly a fiery one now wasn't he? She answered his question, her tones still cold, but no longer hissed from between her clenched jaws,
"Exploring. You?" She passed her tongue over her lips as the sentence exited her mouth. Was that what he was doing as well? Probably. She sniffed the air again and caught the sharp scent of rain coming from the east. Well, a nice shower would be good for her. This place was dreadfully muddy, and while Scout didn't mind getting muddy, she didn't feel like a muddy Eevee would be a very presentable challenger.
He asked her another question and she responded instantly, her tone carrying an air of wistfulness, "I come from the Snow Region. I recommend you visit, it's quite nice there." Her tones held the slightest suggestion of a sneer, but if there was a smirk on her face, she would have hidden it by lapping at her paws next. Another noise, however, interrupted her licking and she jolted her cranium upward, her optics flashing as the aggressional instinct took over her and made her back arch. It was another Fire pokemon. Bloody hell. Her thoughts muttered. She relaxed from her expression and listened to the two converse with a flick of her ear. She sat down upon the muddy ground, her expression downcast, her eye twitching in annoyance to their conversation. Scout didn't particularly liked being ignored, and it felt like they were showing off. Their words were optimistic and excited. Scout felt the opposite of excited. She felt disappointed and angry. She glanced back up as the Charmander --Pyrogenic suddenly spoke to her again. She was surprised that his tones were so friendly, but she decided it must be because he'd been friendly to the same type as him. She replied though, her tone flat, and her ears halfway pinned, "Scout." Her name was different from what others were used to, but she enjoyed how unique it was. Besides, it wasn't as if Pyrogenic was very common! She snorted in compliance to her own thoughts and suddenly glanced upward as she felt a drop spill onto her cheek. The rain had finally come!
Scout loved the rain. She thought it was magical and often liked to play around in it and dodge as many raindrops as she could. She got up, a childish gleam in her optics that was more appropriate for her age. She glanced upward, her mouth curving into the beginnings of a smile. Her ear twitched and she began to try and dodge the raindrops that were coming for her face, jumping and skipping around like a hyper lapdog. However, she felt a prod on her shoulder and turned to see the Charmander and newly arrived Ponyta running for cover. She chortled at them. Fire pokemon. They couldn't even take the rain! But the words from Pyrogenic suddenly made her turn around and follow after them, her steps springy and light, splashing in puddles excitedly. How the rain had an effect on her mood! She followed them into their makeshift shelter, watching them with wide optics, her expression playful. They'd probably think she was a nut.

Misty ------------------------------------------------------------------- The rain was still falling down more. Okay I might be a fire pokemon but I was only a specie right? I was soon to be the fastest pokemon ever to be born on this earth. I was still fast even though I am only at my first level. My hooves are hard as diamonds and would crack the even the toughest stones and rocks. I noticed that the Charmander and another pokemon a Eevee talking to each other. I didn’t want to get wet since the rain would hurt me, I wasn't afraid of the water though. But like a Charmander if my flames go out I would die, but I was stronger though since my flames were covering my entire body which shows it's unlikely for them to go out. Soon enough the terrine began to change into mud. Again I couldn't care less, I love mud since I have seen many of them with my time with Lana.
Lana oh I miss her so much. She was my first ever trainer since I was born. I signed and pushed the way the name as I didn't want to remember it anymore. I pawed the mushy ground again as I was being companied with a Charmander in my shelter. Smiling at him as I caught his name Pyrogenic I was really happy to find another fire type pokemon to play with and they understand why we can't be around in the rain. Seeing the Eevee playing in the rain made me feel sad. I often wished I could do that and be able to gallop through the rain. But then it also made me feel special when others couldn't cope with heat of a volancio. I would like to see this Eevee going inside a volanico which I know for a for a fact it wouldn’t cope.
About two hours I would and the rain finally stopped. I finally came out and then shifted into a trot as the ground was filled with mud like puddles. Growing bored I was thinking of leavening. Unlike most pokemon I didn't like to sick around in one place to long. I love to explore and enjoy the wonderful countryside. I then went to the Charmander and nuzzled him friendly see you again soon, maybe in the fire region. Maybe we could have a battle one day. Not a mean one though she winked and then galloped off to see what the whole world would be like. I looked down at my feet. My claws were buried in the soft soil. I would for sure have to take a small dip in the water to clean myself off. I frowned, I really didn't want to go into the water no matter how much I told myself that I would. I wasn't going to, I would just run through the dry grass back home and that should clean me off. That should work. I smiled again, looking at the Eevee as she spoke to me. "Doing the same as you, checking out new places, meeting others." I gave a flick of my long tail, I felt it on my belly and I grabbed it with my small hands and patted it a few times. The heat that it gave off felt good and reassuring. I let it go and it gave a wag behind me.
I took a deep breath then let go a sigh, feeling the cooler and cleaner air clean out my larynx and my lungs. I took deep breaths until it hurt and I felt light headed. I clenched my jaw, then gave a shake of my skull. The air was getting damper. I pondered it for a bit then the female Eevee spoke. So she was from the snow Region? That was far away, and no wonder why she had sweat that started to damp her air. It was probably a warmer climate. I cocked one of my brows before opening my large mouth to speak. "I may visit sometime, when I get more accustomed to colder climates. I need to be able to blow fire first, I am still only a level five." I spoke, my tones nicer than what hers was to me. I watched her lick her paw, wondering why. I looked back down at my own feet. No, I wouldn't lick those. I am not much of a licker anyway.
It was nice that there was another Fire Pokemon here. I didn't feel like I was the only one who might be cold because of this odd place. I took a long breath in, feeling the burn in my chest as I did so. It hurt, and I didn't particularly like it because it hurt so. But there wasn't much that I could do. This clean air, no matter how much I liked my hot ashy terrain, this air was probably healthier. Even though I would be producing fire soon, right now I had to get as healthy as possible. I wanted my fire to be strong. I grinned at the thought of having a strong flame. The Eevee spoke again, this time stating her name. "It is nice to meet you, Scout." I replied.
I had followed Misty into the bush. It felt drier there, but the filly seemed fidgety in a way. Almost as if she wanted to go out in the rain. No, that wasn't right. I was just thinking way to outside of the box for that. Fire Pokemon didn't like water, did they? As I pondered this I felt some rustle in the bushes and wet fur. I instinctively recoiled away from her. I gave a shiver, not used to this at all. I was born in a Volcano, I wasn't used to this wet cold temperature. Why did I come here? I looked in different places, my eyes flicking in fast motions all around. Was I having a small panic attack? My breathing had escalated a bit, as well as my heart beat. I closed my large blue eyes and concentrated on controlling my shaking frame.
Soon I had calmed my self down. I turned to look at the Eevee only to see her dancing eyes. I was confused, wasn't she just a moment ago the most crankiest thing I had ever met? Now she looks as though she wants to play? My mind was just reeling. I was so confused about everything. I need to level up, then my mind will hopefully comprehend all of this stuff. I was about to say something to her, asking her why she was acting so weird and much like she was on an emotional roller coaster. But I felt a warm body move away from me and the sound of splashing. I turned my cranium seeing Misty off in the puddles. Why was everything so confusing?
My head was starting to hurt. I squinted seeing the fire horse play in the newly made puddles. I gave a snort, taking a step out but Misty was back up to me touching her nose to me and moving her lips. She then said that she was leaving. "Okay, it was nice meeting you, and yes we will see each other in the Fire Region." I replied happily as I watched her gallop away. That was a short visit. Why so short? Why do I keep asking question? I walked out the stopped and looked into one of the puddles. I saw myself in the rippled reflection. I did a few facial movements, trying to amuse myself and get my mind off of all the questions.
ooc:// sorry for the rambly post... I just couldn't stop lol

.scout . Scout often had mood swings. It was probably because of her parents pushing her around all of the time and changing their moods all the time as well. Their personality must have rubbed off on her somehow. She frowned, her brow furrowed. She didn't really like having mood swings. She hoped they'd go away when she leveled up higher. At least to a 10. Then she would be mature and hopefully a Glaceon! Her optics sparkled. She would be beautiful. A light blue fox-like animal with large dark blue spotted ears and a dark blue spotted tail. She have a blue 'snowcap' across her forehead and large dark blue optics. She giggled a bit thinking about what she could look like. But she didn't chose to become a Glaceon purely based on materialistic decisions. No --she'd chosen Glaceon because she would be able to master the power of her favorite element --ice. She'd be able to create blizzards and send shards of ice to chase her opponents. She would be able to freeze any body of water she chose to so she could walk across it. She could freeze her fur completely to make it stand up like needles to pierce the opponents flesh if they dared attack her. She felt almost dizzy with all the possibilities folding before her. Her paws itched to get back to the Snow Region, but she forced herself to relax and be patient. It wasn't as if the Snow Region wasn't going to be there when she got back! She snorted a bit, flicking her long harks and watching the Charmander as he suddenly began to have a mild panic attack as he saw the raindroplets passing toward his flame colored tail. She followed the Fire pokemon into their makeshift shelter and watched a sniff as the Ponyta suddenly brushed against the Charmander, apparently parting ways. She raised an invisible brow. Why was the Ponyta leaving so soon? Was she going to be late to the volcano or something? She then parted her labrums and spoke, her voice questioning, and curious, "You do live in a volcano, right?" She thought personally, that it was strange to live in such a hot place. She'd cook alive in there. She supposed that was one of the only abilities that Fire pokemon had. They could tolerate the heat. But they couldn't enjoy water or a swim once and a while either ... she didn't think that would be a very fair trade. Scout personally loved to swim and as they all saw, she loved to dance in the rain.
