[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]I trotted across a muddy path that was to a tree. My large ears were perked in front of me, but bounced with every step that I took. A smile was on my furry mug as my long fluffy tail swished back and forth. My little nose twitched as new smells came into my nostrils.
My large yellow eyes were smiling as I trotted with my friend. When I finally made it to the tree I sat down, feeling the cool Earth against my bottom. I didn't mind though, it was hot under my fur coat. "It is nice here, isn't it?" I asked Annabelle.
My brown coat was matted on my back, and the white scruff was also matted on my neck. Annabelle had tried to get the mat, sticks, leaves, and prickles out but it hurt me to much so I got mad at her and she hadn't brought it up sense. I looked around, it felt nice under the shade of the large tree. My long ears were laying across my tiny cranium. I wasn't angry, just relaxing my harks. A large sigh came out of me as I waited for what this day was going to bring.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]I followed Coco, my pace just a bit slower than hers. My ears were up, we looked like twins with just a minor height difference and different coloured eyes. But There were subtle differences that made us who we were. I had a scar on my front leg from tripping over something. Yes I was a klutz but I didn't care. As long as Coco was right there to help me back up again I was good.
Coco also had a chunk missing out of her ear. She was a bit touchy on the subject so I never brought it up. But I am sure that it happened during the large storm that we had as babies. The storm that got us separated from our parents. It still made me sad, but I was happy that I wasn't totally alone.
I watched as my matted friend sat down just below a tree. I pranced to catch up and then I laid down beside her. I licked my paw, closing my green eyes as I did. My long ears flickered once and a while, catching sounds of caterpies, weedles, and wrumples. I heard Coco speak and I opened my large orbs to reply. "It is nice, peaceful." I replied quietly.
I started to lick again but stopped short and stood up. Coco did as well, she was tense. There was a noise.
